The renovation houses three professional theaters, one with 199 seats, one with 99 seats, and one with 50 seats. Appropirate for ultra-high value midtown Manhattan real estate, the design is astonishingly efficient. Resident company Primary Stages opened the 199-seat theater on February 1, 2004 with the world premiere of Terrence McNally's The Stendahl Syndrome.
